Notice of Neurology Diplomate Examination
Diplomate examinations in chiropractic neurology are held annually and/or as needed. Next examination information is below:
IBCN Diplomate Examination:
The Diplomate Examination in Neurology leading to the D.I.B.C.N. will be given on Thursday, November 3, 2016 on the campus of Palmer College of Chiropractic, Port Orange Florida. The examination will begin at 10 AM. The written examination consists of two parts, each containing 100 exam questions. Candidates will get 90 minutes for each 100 question written test part, with a half hour between the tests. The written exam will take approximately four (4) hours to complete both parts (including break time).
There will be a 30 minute break, then the practical will begin. The practical examination consists of ten (10) OSCE type stations, with 3 questions at each station (30 questions total). The practical examination takes about 30 minutes per group.
Candidates for examination should contact the board to schedule the examination. Applications must be postmarked at least eight weeks prior to the examination.
Part I is a 200 question written examination. Part II is a practical examination (ten stations, three questions per station). Both Written and Practical are required before awarding diplomate status.
Fees for the examination are $650.00 per part ($600.00 for IACN members). Checks should be written to the IBCN and marked, "Diplomate Examination".
